Supplies & Materials
If you're just getting started, take your time accumulating supplies. Use what you have!
This session is dedicated to traditional watercolour, so a basic watercolour kit is all you need. (links below are affiliate links)
A few brushes (I'll be mostly using a round, medium sized brush).
I like the Princeton #12 Long Round, the Escoda Versatil #10 Rigger and Cheap Joe's Loose Goose Dagger Striper #1
An assortment of paint colors (I will be demonstrating some of my preferred hues, but you get to make up your own mind on what colors you love and want to use in your paintings.)
In this workshop I'll be using a lot of blue: You might see
Daniel Smith: Cobalt Blue, Indigo, Lavender
Sennelier Cinereous Blue
Rockwell: Lake Source Blue
Good quality paper (100% cotton watercolor paper. I prefer "cold press") and I'm using Hahnemühle 140 lb cold press blocks. https://bit.ly/3pknMs2
